FLEXIBLE HOME WORKING
There is now a need to create a separate space from the home in which to go to work or sleep, for holiday or for daily use. The solution is a compact and self-contained home-working or accommodation space, designed for year-round use.
Built in the Highlands using traditional, sustainable materials, Hut Beg is low impact and fits within the landscape that surrounds it. The timber cladding has a warm patina as it weathers, the interior walls are covered in ANTA Highland or Lowland Wool Tweed which is both naturally insulating and beautiful.
A double bed with sprung mattress has storage below, or there is the option to include a built-in desk instead. Functional elements are hidden: the small kitchenette is concealed in two cupboards. A timber door leads to a shower room with loo and basin.
